The International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) aims to increase the performance and efficiency of farm activities, create jobs and entrepreneurial opportunities to make rural livelihoods more sustainable, foster agriculture-led industrialization and markets for rural economic growth, and improve the quality of primary and processed goods. In line with these goals, researchers and partners at  CIMMYT reflect on how the adoption of mechanization across Africa, Asia and Latin America can birth these countless opportunities in the various continents.
